• When do Rescue Diver courses start?
  Blue Reef Scuba Rescue Diver courses are available all year round upon request.
  

• What are the prerequisites to participate in the Rescue Diver course?
  You need to be at least 12 years old and have received training in basic life support and first aid no longer than 24 months ago. The Emergency First Response course is highly recommended but all recognised training bodies are accepted. In addition to this you will need to be a certified PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or hold an equivalent certification from any other scuba training organisation.

• When can I take part in Rescue Diver training?
  Directly after completing your ‘Advanced’ course.
  

• What do I need for the course?
  PADI Rescue Diver manual, which come in the package from Blue Reef Scuba.
  

• What do I need to bring?
  Two passport photos, swim suit, towel, sun lotion, your diving and first aid certifications and your PADI Rescue Diver Crew Pack.
  

• How long does the course take?
  The Rescue Diver course takes a minimum of 4-6 days in conjunction with the Emergency First Response course.
  

• How many dives does the course include?
  The Rescue Diver course includes 4 training dives.
  

• Can I also get my Nitrox diver certification during the Rescue Diver course?
  Yes, such a combination is possible if you are over the age of 15.
  

• What if I need to stop training for any reason?
  In such a case you will only need to pay for the services you have already received.
